DJ-ImageSlider - Joomla Extension

The component DJ-ImageSlider is a convenient way to post on the home page slide show by adding images to the short description. Optionally, each slide can be make clickable and link to a separate page, category or menu item.

 

Extension Description

The extension allows you to create slideshow from existing hosting images without downloading them again. Besides, if you load a graphics file using DJ ImageSlider component, of which you can create a group and combine them as you like.

It is noteworthy that the extension Joomla DJ-ImageSlider doesn't limit the image size - you can decrease the slider to the size of a match head or to stretch over the whole screen. The slider settings allow you to:

• Choose from two options of orientation: vertical or horizontal;
• Work with it as with a component, or as a separate module that shows pictures from folder;
• To add to the image descriptions and links;
• To adjust the width and height of the slider;
• Select the number of images displayed.

Not quite convenient, the size of the slider is absolute (pixels) rather than relative (percentage). This means that when displayed on small screens the slider can take up too much space and not fit in its width.

With the further options in configuring the slide show, you can set manual or automatic mode. Manually switching between images can be performed using the buttons on the screen, or using buttons or mouse wheel. Please note that if you use only the module slideshow, all images can be attached to only one hyperlink, and the component Joomla DJ ImageSlider  allows you to assign each image its own.
