HWD MediaShare Premium - Joomla Extension

HWD MediaShare is a toolkit for creating a full-fledged multimedia portal, with extensive video, photo and audio file management capabilities, as well as custom content sharing. Also, it can be used as a regular video gallery or photo gallery, if that's all you need.

 

Extension Description

The extension will help you and your community publish media on your Joomla website, share media with other networks, integrate with other applications and organize events. The new and significantly improved HWD Media Share is completely rewritten to work without problems with Joomla. It's like your own personal publishing platform.

The functions of the gallery were designed in such a way that it was possible to use other popular video communities and sites for video and photo sharing, such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Flickr, Picasa and Instagram. It has several tools for downloading, including bulk uploads and can support high-definition video from the formats mpg, mpeg, avi, divx, mp4, flv, wmv, rm, mov, moov, asf, swf and vob. You can add any media extension that you need from the administration panel. Also, video and photos from third-party sources such as Youtube and Flickr are supported. These third-party video slots are easily inserted into the component along with the rest of the loaded media. If your site is not supported, you can simply add the code to embed directly into the gallery.

The gallery administrator also has the RTMP stream import tool and the mass server directory scan tool, which allows you to import all media from the server directory.

The software uses the Joomla plugins manager to support a variety of additional frameworks. For example, you can use the Amazon S3 CDN to store and deliver media files or use a hosting platform, such as Vzaar or Kaltura. The extension provides support for ultra-popular JW Player and Flow Player. And also provides a comment structure and plug-ins for DISQUS, Facebook, Komento, JComments.

Additional modules and plug-ins are available, which expand the functionality of the component. Currently, HWD MediaShare Premium integrates with JomSocial, Community Builder, JomComment, JComment.

The HWDMediaShare extension is a replacement for popular components hwdVideoShare and hwdPhotoShare for Joomla 1.5. HwdVideoShare and hwdPhotoShare provided individual galleries support for video and photos, but are now combined into one component. The new HWDMediaShare extensions provide more and more features of the hwdVideoShare and hwdPhotoShare galleries, with a cleaner and more efficient structure that follows the standards of Joomla. The hwdRevenueManager tool, which provides monetization support for hwdVidoeShare and hwdPhotoShare, has been added to the new component.
